Max and Franny met the way all great Northwest tales should begin—over craft beer.
We started working at a Seattle brewery just a week apart, and over the next few years, we went from “new-hire buddies” to the duo running the place—navigating big moves, wild growth, and plenty of chaos side by side. Along the way, we built a friendship rooted in trust, laughter, and the kind of unshakable support that made us realize…

Together, we’re an unstoppable team.

Our first date put that theory to the test—in the wild, literally.
We packed up for a last-minute camping trip to North Bend, and from that moment on, most weekends that year were spent chasing starlit skies and mountain sunsets in Max’s Jeep—rain, sun, or snow. Our favorite spot was Douglas Creek in Eastern Washington, where we’d roll in at golden hour, blast our camping playlist, pour boxed wine into tin mugs, and laugh until the fire burned low.
Somewhere between mountains of kegs and nights under the stars, we realized this was it. We talked about marriage—and then Franny surprised Max one night at Douglas Creek by asking him to marry her while Charley Crockett’s “Don’t Cry” played around the campfire.
A few months later, we moved to Laramie, Wyoming to fix up Franny’s grandparents’ old house and build a new community. One breezy spring evening there, Max made a sweet, formal reaffirmation of his love by proposing above the town’s iconic train tracks—a perfect moment in our new hometown.
Since then, life here has been full of rodeos, backyard hangs, bowling nights, deep friendships (old and new), and quiet mornings with our cat, Lou. We’ve changed industries, grown together through all kinds of change, and never stopped finding new ways to support each other.
Now we’re counting down to forever—more laughter, more trail miles, and continuing to build a love that feels like home. We can’t wait for what’s ahead.
Cheers to our next great adventure!
